I would like to apply a waterproof coating on smooth tiles in my bathroom. A colleague offered me: a primer coat of tiling glycero + coated concrete effect cement waxed acrylic glue, marble powder and cement about 5 mm? What do you think? Do you have other simpler, less expensive suggestions?

Quite frankly I do not advise youapply a coating on the tiles of the bathroom. No coatings of this kind fit correctly on tiles, even with primary hooking. In addition "waxed concrete effect" coatings are complex to implement and more decorative than waterproof...

I would rather recommend the application of a colored resin. See our DIY tip sheet "Apply a resin on wall tile" which details the operation.
