The electrical panel represents the starting point of the installation. Its installation meets the standard NF C 15-100 which guarantees your safety and allows to realize an installation which corresponds to your needs. According to this standard, the switchboard must be installed in a Housing Technical Sheath (GTL).

Install an electrical board: differential and circuit breakers

In new construction or renovation, compliance with this standard is imperative. In partial renovation, it must be applied as much as possible. The panel includes a cabinet in which differential circuit breakers, divisional and a terminal block to connect the installation to the ground.
To know!
In case of doubt to perform the installation of the panel call an electrician. For your safety always work with the electrical input cut off.

Fix the box

Fix the box

Near the EDF meter, fix the box in the previously installed housing. The modules must be easily accessible and positioned between 1 m and 1.80 m from the ground.

Set the differential switch 30 mA

Set the differential switch 30 mA

Place the 30 mA differential switch on the rail at the top of the circuit: it is mandatory on all circuits of the house. It cuts off the current as soon as a fault occurs on the circuit and thus prevents any risk of electrocution.

Connect the differential switch

Connect the differential switch

Clip on the rail the number of circuit breakers matching your needs. Connect the differential switch at the top (input) with 10 mm2 wire. In the lower part, connect wires of the same section.

Connect the circuit breakers

Connect the circuit breakers

Connect the lower leads of the switch to the power feed combs. Associate the red wire (phase) with the black comb and the blue wire (neutral) with the blue comb. Place the teeth of the black comb (phase) in the terminals of the corresponding circuit breakers.
