Hello, we have just bought a house in Portugal. We are obliged to change the tiles and we want to put in place a film under waterproof roof to avoid infiltrations in case of broken tiles. The problem is that the whole frame is cement. Which film to choose? How to fix this film? Thank you for trying to give us an answer.
It's not easy to get an idea of what you call a "cement frame". If it is a roof made entirely of concrete (a solution sometimes practiced in the mountains), there is no reason to place a roof underlayment. If it is a roof with preformed concrete beams... the underlayment film you want to put in place should be placed under the battens, which makes the operation very complicated, since they are usually consisting of concrete elements themselves sealed in the roof, and therefore difficult to dismantle.
