I would like to quickly lay PVC slats on the ceiling, there are rooms including the kitchen where there is already the old wooden paneling and rooms where I put OSB sheets in particle board. I would just like to know if I still have to put cleats or if I can fix the PVC blades directly on it?
I am in principle not in favor of the direct bonding of the paneling on a surface because, if it is fast, this technique does not allow a good air circulation on the underside of the paneling (this blade of air favors the insulation and avoids any risk of condensation).
Prefer a laying on cleats as we detail it in our DIY sheet "INSTALLATION OF PVC LAMBRIS". The technique will be the same for a ceiling, whether wood or OSB.
