Trunnion connections assume a very precise correspondence of the holes in which the trunnions will be threaded. If the marking tips are a simple and very affordable solution, the drill guide is a valuable tool because it is much more precise. It also allows you to work much faster and more efficiently.
The drill guides allow precise drilling, in series (so quickly), holes to receive these fluted hardwood dowels that are the trunnions. Be sure to choose the drill hole corresponding to the diameter of the trunnion, as well as a drill of appropriate diameter. Work with a light drill, holding well in hand.
