I have a Bole wind turbine that is no longer active. Can I install a modern wind turbine at the top of the house to provide electricity (located 50 m from the house)?
We can install a wind turbine without a building permit when the entire installation (mast + platform) does not exceed 12 meters in height (measured from the ground). It is nevertheless necessary to deposit in town hall a pre-authorization work file. Prohibitions are possible in areas saved and / or located in the perimeter of protection of a historical monument.
In this case, having an existing structure does not exempt you from the above steps. Finally, it must be ensured that this structure is in a sufficient state of preservation, to support the weight of the nacelle and its phases of operation (rotation of the propeller)
