Can we stick decorative paneling on cork tiles because it is difficult to deposit them? The wall is made of plaster and plasterboard tiles.
It is possible to stick paneling on cork slabs, in two conditions:
- that these slabs are perfectly adherent to the support
- the areas concerned are free of moisture.
You can also proceed to a laying on cleats, themselves glued, screwed or nailed on the existing slabs. This solution will have the merit of ensuring good ventilation on the underside of the paneling. Depending on the thickness of the cleats, you can also insulate the wall in question.
