The Advent calendar is a tradition of keeping children happy until Christmas. Here is a model to manufacture oneself, with few tools.
On a MDF board (73 x 50 cm, 18 mm thick), draw a vertical line in the center, horizontal marks every 10 cm and those of the branches.
Cut (preferably with a coping saw) and use the shape obtained for a second fir tree (73 x 50 cm, 3 mm thick), ensuring the "back" of the structure.
Cut 25 squares (45 x 25 mm, MDF 9 mm thick) to create the "doors".
Then draw 9 horizontal lines and draw the outline of the 25 squares.
Make an access hole and cut out smaller squares inside the lines.
Nail (or glue) the 3 mm panel to the back of the tree.
Screw a hinge on the edge of the small squares.
Place them in front of the boxes and screw each hinge on the panel to fix the doors definitively.
Attach a hinge to a panel (8 x 50 cm, MDF 9 mm thick).
Center and fix it to the back of the calendar that can stand at an angle of about 10°.
Paint according to his taste.
