A lot of limestone on my bathtub due to poor maintenance of the previous tenant. Despite regular maintenance with all kinds of products (cillik bang, overpowering descaler, white vinegar) there is still limestone. How to overcome these old deposits and how to prevent new ones?
A very effective recipe for grandmother is to pour white boiling vinegar on the limestone (be careful not to burn yourself!) On the limestone, with the bung closed, then leave to act before brushing and rinsing. If your bathtub is no longer very smooth or very bright it may also be due to the wear of the enamel of it. To give it a facelift, follow the tips of our sheet "Renovation of a bathtub" which details the procedure for repainting your bathtub with a special colored resin.
