Getting started: if the PowerGrip of the first generation had its followers, it must be recognized that this new version offers better ergonomics. Abandoning the old silhouette a little belly, which only large male hands could do the trick, we now move to a revolver handle that should please everyone (see photo). The trigger falls well under the fingers and only the reverser of the direction of rotation requires a little time of adaptation. For the rest, we find the same "head", with a torque of screwing multiple adjustment notches and a position "piercing".
Use: The revolver handle offers a pleasant grip and ensures good blocking of the gesture during tightening at maximum torque. With only 14 cm between the bit holder and the back of the screwdriver, you can slip into very inaccessible places. The automatic shaft lock allows use in manual screwdrivers (to force when unlocking). In "drilling" position, making a series of pilot holes to facilitate subsequent screwing is not a problem. Battery side,
a full charge is usually sufficient for routine work (example: assembling kit furniture).
Notice: simple and detailed, but the tool is not complicated.
- The small size makes it easier to work in uncomfortable places of access. Sufficient autonomy and one can always afford a second battery.
- For the price, the machine is delivered without any accessories, not even a set of bits and its support.
The screwdriver is efficient and ergonomics no longer suffers criticism of the old model. But for the price, a small box of bits and bit holders would not be luxury.
