It's been 11 years since I built, and all betement I realized that I do not have a hatch to access the crawlspace? I resorti the plan of the house and looking at I have a crawl space 50 cm high, but no accessibility to it? Can we make a trap to access the crawlspace?

To create a hatch of access to the crawl space, is in theory quite simple. The vertical part between the floor of the ground floor and the natural ground is usually made of bricks or blocks. Simply place two rows of bricks or blocks 60 to 80 cm wide to create an opening. The relative narrowness of this opening exempts any refort at the level of the slab of the ground floor. Take the advice of a mason, however, to avoid any weakening of a load-bearing wall.
