In my living room, I have a mezzanine. The walls are plastered with lime and half-timbered. The ceiling of the mezzanine is paneled. What do you advise me for the under slopes of the mezzanine and the living room?
It all depends on your taste in decoration and your insulation needs. The combination of timber and lime must give a rustic side to all that should probably keep.
A composite panel veneer, on the other hand, will improve the insulation and could give a boost to the whole.
Remember that the loft can be used for storage purposes by installing furniture (bookcases, cupboards...) tailored to the slope of the roof. A simple painting, can highlight these elements that will stand out against this background and create a very modern set.
