Project the footprint of the element that will go through the partition (here a pipe) on the horizontal and vertical side of the tile.
The square thus drawn makes it possible to draw the shape to be cut. Use a special grease pencil.
Inside the square, draw the circle defining the part of tile to eliminate.
Glue on top of the tape to prevent skidding of the wick.
Drill the tile by placing the drill in the center of the circle.
Cut the circle with a wire saw.
Cutting done, polish the edges with the half-round file.
For larger diameters, think of the special carbide tipped hole saw, which is mounted on a drill.
