Drill and mill the wood with the help of a column stand

The drilling of wood with a vertical support column allows to work accurately, at the right depth, and perfectly vertical, which may be necessary for some assemblies (eg trunnions). It is regrettable that many modern drills can not adapt to this kind of support because of their supposedly "ergonomic" shape.

Necessary material

  • Drill
  • Ratchet
  • Column support
  • Helical drill
  • Strawberry
  • Extension wick
  • Flat wick
  • Clamps
  • Male key

Steps

  1. Drilling wood with a helical drill bit
  2. Drilling with a wick with extension or with a flat wick
