- Snap the convector
- Connect the convector cables
- Screw on the protective cover and adjust the thermostat
The electric heating circuit must be independent of other networks (sockets, lighting). A line is drawn directly from the general distribution table.
The diameter of the cables used to make the network must be adapted to the sum of the powers of the connected devices. The same goes for the circuit breaker.
The circuit must have a ground wire, even if it is not required for the connection of the convector (class II appliance).
If in doubt about the quality of your electrical installation, do not hesitate to call a professional.
Snap the convector
The convector is simply hooked on the support plate. Put it on the base, then fold it against the wall: it fits on the upper lugs of the plate.
Connect the convector cables
Connect the convector wires to those in the house. Respect the color concordance. Sometimes there is an extra black cable: connect it only when using pilot wire management.
Screw on the protective cover and adjust the thermostat
Then screw on the protective cover of the junction box. Perform the tests, then set the thermostat of the appliance to the desired temperature in the room.
