Is there a standard for rainwater drainage by balcony wash bottle? What surface of terrace must evacuate a bottle? What does the DTU say?
These are the DTUs 20.12 and 43.1 which govern the sealing problems and evacuation of rainwater. Each terrace must have a slope of 2.5%, an evacuation and an overflow or two evacuations (wash bottles or barbican) to prevent the water level accumulated on the balcony or terrace from reaching the sealing system, even the threshold of the door window overlooking the balcony or the terrace. A balcony of city being never immense: a bottle and a too full should be enough. If there is no evacuation removing water from the facade or in case of occasional overflow, a balcony drip can be installed.
