Install a damper
Position the damper against the top panel of the unit and locate the location of the fasteners.
Pre-drill the screw locations with a thin Ø? 2mm bit.
Be careful not to cross the wood.
Screw the body of the device (small wood screws).
No need to squeeze too tightly to the risk of bursting the plastic.
Slide the piston into its housing.
The damper makes it possible to slow down the door without preventing it from closing completely.
Put a magnetic latch
Position the latch.
Locate the location of the magnet on the panel, and that of the turntable on the door.
Drill pilot holes to simplify screwing, especially if using hardwoods or chipboard.
Attach the magnetized part to the door with flat screws to vary its position
. Screw the turntable without tightening.
The door is thus kept in the closed position.
The deck must be able to move slightly to facilitate opening.
