We have to start building near Biarritz. The earth is a priori clay. In our environment, we are advised against geothermal energy. That's why we went to aerothermal. However, we met two professionals (France geothermal and Eurogeothermie) who advise us geothermal. We do not know what to choose knowing that this represents for us an important investment. What do you think?
The compact nature of clay soil sometimes poses some problems including earthwork difficulties. It will be necessary to place a layer of sand at the bottom of the excavation at the level of the sensors, then a cover of top soil and not clayey earth (conductivity of the clay). This is probably the reason why some companies are reluctant.
