- Attach and connect the end hooks
- Place the intermediate hooks on the cords
- Adjust the gutter
- Install and connect the gutters
The laying material is minimalist: two long cords, a screwdriver, a hacksaw and sandpaper. The hooks are screwed onto the frame. The gutter profiles interlock or stick together before being locked on the hooks.
Observe a maximum gap of 60 cm between the hooks, a slope of 3 to 5 mm / m towards the collector (birth). Birth should not serve more than 12 m / l of gutter. Beyond that, special equipment is recommended.
Attach and connect the end hooks
On the birth side, attach a hook to the edge board. In contrast, place a second hook slightly higher (water flow slope). Connect the two hooks with cords.
Place the intermediate hooks on the cords
Align an intermediate hook on the cords. Place it 60 cm from the first hook, then screw it on the edge board. Repeat the operation for the remaining brackets.
Adjust the gutter
If necessary, cut the gutter with a hacksaw. Draw a mark on the half-circumference. Saw slowly and smoothly. Deburr the cut with sandpaper.
Install and connect the gutters
Engage the gutter under the rear edges of the hooks. Fold it down to fit on the nose of the brackets. To connect two gutters, use a junction (to be glued or compressed).
