The birth takes place at the end of the gutter, just above the rain panes buried in the ground. Made of PVC, it is simply glued (or nested) to the gutter profile. The diameters of the birth, the gutter and the descent are determined by the surface of the roof.
The number indicated corresponds to the development of the gutter (example: 160 mm = 16). Up to 20 m2, put a gutter of "16". Up to 65 m2, install a gutter of "25". Beyond 65 m2, put a gutter of "33".
Birth and gutter profile
Fit the birth on the gutter profile. Use a long indelible marker to trace the circumference of the hole to be cut at the bottom of the profile (Ø 80, 100 or 125 mm). Take off the birth.
Remove the cap
For flexibility, loosen the blade of a hacksaw. Cut out the cap to remove. You can use a hole saw to get a clean cut.
Sand the contours
The contours of the cut are then refined and deburred with the half-round file. To improve bonding, fine tune the work: sand the area around the hole with sandpaper.
Raise the birth
Locate the location of birth to coincide with the opening. Glue the gutter profile, then raise the birth. Press for a few seconds.
