In the garden there is currently a garden fence consisting of concrete poles (90X90) spaced 2 m - the base is composed of concrete slab of +/- 40 cm. To equip on 1.20 m of post fix wooden poles in side to finally slide boards up to about 1.40 m. There will be 1.80 m with the neighbor. How to fix wood poles on concrete poles? Does not drilling break the concrete posts?
On this type of relatively thin posts, it is safer not to try to pierce them. A simple solution is to fix the wood panels using a strapping or metal pawe (bent to the dimensions of the post), which surrounds the concrete post. This will prevent not only the bursting of the concrete, but the obstacle of the reinforcement and the exposure of the latter (which could make them rust).
