Inertia radiators combine two heating modes: convection and radiation plus a part of accumulation. They are the best possible alternative to convectors, a solution that is now a thing of the past. They are more versatile than radiant panels.
Electric radiators with inertia use the mass of a heating body that stores heat and then restores it gradually. This heating body can be a fluid (oil), a block of cast iron or stone (soapstone, for example). This type of radiator produces a regular and homogeneous heat, comparable to that of a central heating radiator. It is suitable for bedrooms and living rooms.
Heating radiators with solid heating and heated front
An inertia radiator with a cast iron heater and a heated film front for soft, durable heat provides excellent responsiveness. It can have an electronic thermostat and an on-board programming (3 prerecorded or modifiable programs according to the versions), a system of automatic shutdown of heating in case of opening of window (Eco-detection) and a indicator of level of consumption according to the requested temperature (Eco-indicator). It can be controlled by pilot wire 6 orders. The control box is digital: a presence detector automatically lowers the temperature in your absence.
Inertia radiators with heat transfer fluid
Heat-transfer liquid radiators (mineral oil) benefit from the same technological advances in programming and reactivity as those with a solid heating core. These low-temperature radiators provide comfort very close to that of a central heating radiator. It benefits from modifiable programs. They are marketed in 750 W, 1000 W, 1500 W and 2000 W.
