I have wanted to install a water pump in my home for a long time, but every time I have difficulties, I have trouble installing it. I would like you to guide me for this installation.
My first warning will concern the use of well water: you can use it for feeding (and therefore drinking) only after analysis by an approved laboratory and authorization of the DDASS. Technically, you can use a surface pump to draw up to 9 m (7 m being more reasonable). To draw deeper you need a submerged pump (to be placed at the bottom of the well). Always place a strainer (small mesh box) at the end of the pipe so as not to raise impurities and sand which would damage the pump. Choose a self-priming model that is easier to use regularly.
