Any significant extension of the electrical installation of a house assumes that of a secondary panel. This is the case, for example, when carrying out an extension or the development of an additional space or room, such as a garage in the living room or attic. The principle consists of starting from the main panel input to supply a second panel equipped with security modules or specific equipment.
The principles of installation of a secondary panel are the same as those applied for the main panel: it is equipped at the head of a switch 40 A - 30 mA which protects all equipment to place on the board. It may be, as in this video, differential circuit breakers in relation to the power of the devices to be powered via the various circuits, or specific devices such as a socket directly on the board or equipment such as a remote control, a timer, etc..
