Installation of a washbasin

Setting a washbasin on a bathroom furniture kit requires three separate operations: the assembly of the furniture, the establishment of the supply and discharge pipes for the sink and finally the connection of these pipes to the elements of the sink set up on the bathroom cabinet. 1. The laying of the pipes intended for the washbasin having been carried out, it is now a question of proceeding to the installation of the piece of furniture which will support the sink.

2. Place the furniture "open" to facilitate access to the pipes that you will have to connect. Do not put doors and drawer until all the elements are well put in place. Check that the elements of the pipes laid, fit properly in the cuts made in the 2 side panels of the furniture.

3. Get help to set up the sink and control its horizontality. Check that the elements of the pipes laid, are in front of those of the sink to which they must be connected.

1. First mount the metal wires connecting the feed line to the mixer plate before fitting it. The operation will be facilitated.

2. Remove the washbasin for more convenience in setting up the various items. Now position the mixer by passing the metal braids through the sink opening.

3. With a small open end wrench, finish tightening the long nuts on the counter plate of the mixer.

4. Secure the porcelain of the lavatory outlet between the two seals. Hand tighten without forcing by stopping the bung valve return rod hole toward the back of the sink.

5. Thread the bung valve draw line into the hole in the rear base of the mixer and connect it to the return rod that you have previously screwed into its housing. Make the necessary settings.

1. Replace (with help) the sink on the unit to make the final connections. Manually perform the siphon and drain connection without omitting to place the seals and tighten the connection nuts but energetically.

2. Then connect the metal braids to the supply circuit with the straight mechanical connections and double bushings. Use an adjustable wrench and a wrench. Tighten but not excessively so as not to crush the bicones that act as seals.
