What do you think of the pellet burner that can be installed on oil or gas boilers?
Technically, the operation is feasible, and even quite common in forest-dominated countries or regions. That said, the heating companies are many to advise against this operation, any pellet burner, whatever its quality, not being optimized for all types of boilers. The yield is likely to suffer and, consequently, the final bill. If the boiler in place is old, it seems more logical to replace it with a specifically designed boiler designed for pellets. You currently enjoy (2015) a tax credit of 30% on equipment.
