We have double glazing very effective in terms of sound and heat insulation but the chests of our shutters (old with chains, accessible from the inside) are not themselves isolated, and suddenly we suffer the noise and the infiltrations of cold air... How to fix it? Is it possible to isolate them effectively, and if so, how?

There is not much other solution than to remake inside... a chest on the existing chest, either with panel or plasterboard (and in both cases by interposing a layer of insulation of at least 5 cm) or with composite panel (plasterboard + insulation).
