Where can I find Japanese papers (washi) to make a sliding partition door?
The paper used for the realization of panels for Japanese partitions is washi. It comes from three plants whose bark fibers are used: kozo, mitsumata or gampi. Other fibers are incorporated into the paper to give certain specific visual effects. These papers are very expensive, they are often replaced by rice paper or even fabric (see our DIY SHEET). You will find real Japanese paper in specialized creative leisure shops and on the site of the Canadian store PAPER JAPANESE or customized on the site partitions-Japanese.
