If, like many homes, you use electric convectors as your main source of heat or as an auxiliary heater, here is a little tip for you to save energy.

As in any house or apartment, dust is deposited in every nook and cranny and therefore inside your convectors. Before the winter season comes, think about cleaning the grids of your convectors and if possible the inside (disconnect them from the mains). By removing the dust, you will facilitate heat transfer from your convector. This will allow, for the same feeling of heat released, to consume less electricity.
