Painting is easy! To repaint a room, start with the ceiling without neglecting the preparation of the support and the protection of the decorative elements.
Think about protecting well
Attach a polyane film to the floor with a masking tape that can be placed above the baseboards if their color differs from the walls.
Delineate the surface to be painted with masking tape so as not to overflow from one panel to the other or to a structural element.
You can pack your ceiling light in a plastic bag. This allows you to paint all around without dismounting and damaging it.
Do not attempt to bypass switches and outlets. Simply dismount the finishing plates and paint around the apparatus.
Paint the ceiling
Mix the paint in the jar to make it homogeneous. Then dip the hair brush to a third of the bristles. Squeeze the excess against the edge.
After placing masking tapes along the wall, begin by applying the paint in the corners of the ceiling to a width of about 5? Cm.
Transfer the pot into a truck (10? L) or a tray as needed. Dip the sleeve without reaching the axle. Turn it once or twice and wring it out.
Apply the paint roughly on a strip about 1 inch wide. Start from the side where the drop shadows will bother you the least.
Reload the roll, and even the paint on the covered portion. Do not crush the roller in the corners to avoid the droplets.
Use a mini-roller to cover the corners a second time. Let dry then apply a second coat in the same way.
