I wish to paint the wall of my buried basement. The walls are rough blocks and all joints are not full. So I would like to make the wall smoother before painting and also protect the rooms from moisture. What should I use as products?

Breeze block walls can be painted directly with a vinyl or acrylic paint to create a "raw" decor. For a more neat finish, it is necessary to make a coating, after filling any "gaps" of mortar between the blocks. A waterproof coating will prevent migrations of moisture and therefore saltpetre through the blocks. You can then paint with the paint of your choice.
