I want to repaint my tile in my kitchen and dining room with special V33 floor paint. These pieces undergo a significant passage, the paint resists you as well as it is said and should we protect with a varnish then or not.
The floor paints, originally designed for concrete floors, have a very good adhesion on rough substrates. It is different on a very smooth surface like the tiles. I advise you to polish it with the sander, with a suitable abrasive. Nevertheless, even with this preparation, one must not dream; even in car parks, where we use very resistant floor paints, even resins, there are wear areas after a few years. You can plan to remake your soil every 3 or 4 years. The varnish would be of no use.
