I would like to renovate the plaster of my facade with a plasticized paint. What is the procedure to follow, before applying the paint (cleaning, fixing layer, etc.)
The most used "plasticized" facade paint is based on Pliolite®. It is suitable for hydraulic plasters, that is to say based on lime or cement, which are not too structured. For fine plasters with many points, it is better to use an acrylic facade paint. For plaster-type paint there may be a phenomenon of incompatibility, solvents Pliolite dissolving and softening the paint. In all cases, make sure that the original plaster adheres to the wall. Clean it with a high-pressure cleaner (do not get too close to the nozzle). A first layer of diluted paint facilitates the hanging of the next.
