I would have liked to know if we could put spots in a ceiling Placo insulated because I over the ceiling roofs that are isolated and know if it does not risk burning?
The problem of overheating related to recessed spotlight bulbs in a false ceiling is real, especially since there are practically no recess nowadays very low voltage (12V) spots: they only heat very little, but it is the transformer that is likely to heat up and create a fire. So we install low voltage spots (230V) but must leave at least 15 cm between the base of the bulb and the ceiling. When it comes to glass wool, it is not likely to burn, being non-flammable.
