Room thermostat integrated into the panel: connection diagram

A room thermostat integrated in the panel allows the adjustment of the temperature of a room via a probe installed in the housing or the area to be monitored. A changeover contact allows to act upward (heating) or downward (air conditioning), in a temperature range of 3 to 30° C. The temperature adjustment is done by acting on a rotary knob located at the front of the device.

Installation and use of the room thermostat

The device takes place at the subscriber board, just like the modules of different functionalities, clipped onto the rail that receives the other devices. The probe must be placed at a height of 1.50 m from the ground, in a location that is not likely to be influenced by drafts as much as by direct sunlight. It must not be more than 50 m away from the module. The set can be associated with a time switch.
The wiring is very simple: the cut and protection of the module are provided by a divisional differential circuit breaker 6A, arranged on the board, on the rail accommodating the thermostat.
This type of thermostat is ideal with radiant heating floors and ceilings.
