Colors and colors:
Spruce is a white wood with light silver highlights.
It is a light and soft wood so particularly sensitive to shocks. Not very nervous, the spruce is in the form of fine grain and straight wire. Given its lightness, it offers good mechanical characteristics but poor performance over time.
Uses in the house:
Interior and exterior joinery. Light frame. Formwork.
Thanks to its straight wire, this softwood is easy to cut, but sawing will provoke the pulling of fiber. The spruce sticks easily and shows a very good resistance to this type of fixation.
