I would like to carry out additional insulation in a room where the external walls are already insulated with 30 + 10 plates. I would like to add 75mm rock wool plates on a metal frame and a BA 13 to finish. Are there any indications or is it possible?
Technically, the proposed solution, add a doubling with metal frame on a composite panel insulation, poses, in itself, no problem, provided that the wall to be insulated is not affected by moisture problems. however, I am still in favor of a homogeneous insulation, through the removal of existing plates, if only to ensure the quality of the wall.
