Regarding the tightness of pipelines what is the best produced: Teflon or tow? I used Teflon on the taping of my faucets and the result is not very conclusive; I still have a oozing maybe I have not enough around my filletages...
Many professional plumbers still swear by the tow and the joint paste... However, Teflon has many advantages: ease and cleanliness of use, efficiency, longevity, etc. It is not always easy to put in place, given its finesse. In particular, it is necessary to avoid the extra thicknesses which, far from strengthening the tightness, are detrimental to it by preventing a complete screwing of the connections.
