First, I want to thank you for the advice you give to people, like me, who do not know how to deal with problems that disturb them. My case is that I have a ceiling made of Dalakit 3cm thick fixed on: a metal part and another wood, and I like to make a glass wool insulation or others. the question is how to proceed and with what thickness of insulation?
The question lacks precision: geographical location, altitude, intended use of the room... If the structure can be left exposed, the simplest is to ask above the ceiling fibrous insulation (glass wool, rock wool...) in rolls, in panels or in bulk. If the structure is to be hidden, a metal frame and gypsum board ceiling must be provided, and also have insulation above the ceiling created, provided there is sufficient distance between the openings and the new ceiling..
