Having closed a covered terrace, in veranda, I would like to lay a floor on the ground. This one being tiled on a rough screed. What should I put as floor insulation, knowing that I have only 50mm of the tiles, at the height of the frame of the sliding?
You can easily create a dry screed. Light and thermally insulated, it becomes possible to put on a floor panels and then cover the flooring of your choice. A FILE details the operation on our site.
You also have the solution of classic extruded polystyrene panels, the application of polyurethane foam or the installation of Distansol panels from Isover. These are glass wool panels covered with a glass cover on one side. Their thickness varies according to your needs. They are fixed on Distansol feet as described in our SHEET that you can consult.
