What product should I use to seal cracks (see attached photos). I enlarged these cracks that are internal with the idea of putting staples... but I do not know if a fiber cement would not be enough... the slots are also visible at the bottom of the block. I had a visit from an expert who mentioned a bad build to explain these cracks.
It is certainly structural cracks, probably related to differential settlements: poorly backfilled ground, insufficient foundations, etc., or volumetric variation of a clay soil subjected to successive humidification and drying phases.
Filling these cracks with a fiber coating is not a bad idea, but these cracks will reappear if the background problem is not addressed. In the case of soil or foundation settlements, there are foundation and / or soil reinforcement systems, either by micro-pile or by resin injection.
