I have to put boards in a cupboard, between two walls. And I do not know why the boards were cut too short by 2 cm on each side. Is there a type of support that could make up for the mistake? I thought put a cleat on each side, but... my board falls! thank you for a tip!

When boards to serve as shelving are cut too short, we can compensate for this lack by the implementation of larger cleats, or even replace cleats brackets, when these shelves must withstand heavy loads (pounds for example). You can also place cleats lengthwise, longer than your missing length boards, nailing them or gluing them under your shelves.
