I made a plasterboard ceiling that I painted with satin white acrylic paint and unfortunately all the joint strips stand out (despite all the time spent sanding!). What should be done? Can we plan to put paneling? Make a coating on a stretch ceiling? What is the best value / quality / price solution?

Making joints between plasterboard is always difficult for the amateur. Apply a layer of plaster, apply the calico, apply a new coat of plaster pressing strongly knife to drown the band in the plaster, let dry, then sand. If the joints reappear, it is of course possible to coat, but on the ceiling it is not easier than to make correct joints! The simplest and most economical solution seems to me, for you, to glue paper to paint and... to paint it. You will find the method in our sheet TAP A CEILING WITH PAPER PRIMED.
