The Content Of The Article:

I live in a house with roughcast on the walls. When I bought it in 2007, there was some humidity in places at the bottom of the terrace walls. I redid all the paintings but since this winter, the humidity has returned and the paint is blistering. Yet my outer wall does not have cracks. I do not know where the moisture can come from. What do you think?

If moisture is present only on the terrace side and only at this point, there may be a concern for sealing at the expansion joint normally established between the terrace and your facade. First check this item. Make sure the gutter along the roof does not pour rainwater onto the deck. Do not remake the paints until you have found the source of this moisture and then wait for the walls to have dried before scraping the moisture, coating and repainting.
